Mr. Andres G. Otero. is a highly experienced MBA, investment banker and financial executive with more than $3.5 billion in capital markets & debt financing transactions; more than $3 billion in restructurings and more than $1 billion in mergers & acquisitions and start-up financing.

Most recently, Mr. Otero has been Managing Partner at Otero Partners, LLC a boutique corporate finance firm focused on financial strategy advisory for corporates, private equity funds and high net worth groups. Recent transactions include the restructuring of a large food service supplier in Miami, FL; the financing of a 170 MW renewable energy project in Mexico; outsource CFO for a major meatpacking company in Texas; and outsource CFO for an international agro-industrial company.

Previously, he was co-founder and CFO of GOTV LLC/Pongalo.com.; a Spanish-language Internet television company based in Miami, Florida; was co-founder and Managing Director of Latinvest Group Holdings; and co-founder of Green Planet Investments, an alternative fuel’s company based in Doral, FL. Earlier, Mr. Otero had a successful career as Investment Banker and Director of Corporate Finance Latin America at Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), based in Caracas, New York and Madrid.

Mr. Otero holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from TRIUM (NYU Stern/London School of Economics/HEC Paris; a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from New Hampshire College and an Advanced Certificate in Management from IESA, Venezuela. He has also been a member of the board of directors and advisor to select start-ups and early stage companies.
